2025 School-University Partnership Powerhouse Conference

Conference Information
In an era of exponential change—driven by technology, post-pandemic realities, and evolving student needs—this conference brings together educators, school leaders, and university partners to network, highlight partnership experiences, and explore school-university partnerships that strengthen educational practices; build relational learning communities; and support collaborative approaches to teaching and learning.

Participation is open to NJ P-12 schools and education preparation providers seeking to share and learn with the professional school-university partnership community.

Proposal Requirements
Proposals were due by 5:00 p.m. September 1, 2025.  A complete proposal includes the following elements (entered on subsequent screens of this form):

  • Presenter name(s) and contact information
  • Presentation title
  • Brief description for publication in the conference program
  • Session thematic strand selection
  • Intended Audience
    Consider one or two main audience types for your proposal:
    • PK-12 Classroom Teachers
    • PK-12 Mentor/Cooperating Teachers
    • PK-12 Campus/District-based Administrators
    • College/University-based Leaders/Admins
    • College/University-based Faculty
    • College/University Students (Preservice Teacher)
    • Community Partners or Other
  • Session details:
    Content: What specifically do you propose to present and do during this session?
    Outcomes: What will participants take away from this session?
    Relevance: How does this session support/speak to school-university partnerships?
    Impact: Why is this session important? 

Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluated proposals on the following four criteria:

  1. Overall fit of the content / alignment with the call for proposals
  2. Clarity and suitability of the presentation’s objectives and participant outcomes
  3. Relevance to School-University Partnerships
  4. Projected impact/contribution to the field
