The AACTE and the NJACTE collaborate to strengthen their advocacy efforts, share experience and expertise, and expand their members’ professional development opportunities. To this end, NJACTE’s relationship with AACTE is a voluntary affiliation that allows NJACTE to advance the interests of its members.
NJACTE
The New Jersey Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (NJACTE) is an organization whose work is focused on the preparation and professional development of teachers and educational leaders in the State of New Jersey. Its purpose is to promote the learning of all PK-12 students through the high-quality, evidence-based preparation and continuing education of teachers and teacher leaders. NJACTE provides an effective voice for teacher education at the state level on matters of policy related to teacher education, educational leadership, and advanced study in education. Regionally accredited baccalaureate or graduate colleges and universities which have nationally accredited (CAEP/AAQEP) teacher education and/or educational leadership programs in New Jersey are eligible for membership in NJACTE.
