I am excited to serve as the 2026–2027 president for the New Jersey School University Partnerships (NJSUP). I previously served in this organization as a secretary, board committee member, events committee member, and awards committee member during the 2025–2026 academic year. I look forward to working with each NJSUP member with a meaningful commitment to collaborate, build membership, and develop professional learning opportunities for the organization this year.
Currently, I serve as the Director of Vocational Education and CTE for the Egg Harbor Township School District and have worked in PK–12 education for 25 years. I have been in my current role for the past five years and previously worked as a curriculum supervisor, teacher, and coach throughout my educational journey. I have a passion for professional development, equity in education, instructional technology, and trades and career pathways for both in-school and out-of-school youth.
Through my educational experience, I understand the importance of supporting and being surrounded by a collaborative team. Collaboration is an important tenet of NJSUP. We understand that we all have strengths and are doing great work within our individual organizations, and sharing those practices only helps us improve as educational practitioners.
This year I am committed to working together to expand our membership, create professional learning opportunities, and provide networking opportunities for our members. Understanding that both preservice and seasoned educators need a network of support, I am committed to finding opportunities for these two groups to connect. Watching our organization rebrand and evolve from the original Professional Development Schools (PDS) partnering into the New Jersey School University Partnerships, where PK–12 and higher education can come together and support one another in multiple ways, has been most rewarding for me to witness over the past two years.
I am honored to serve as NJSUP’s president for the 2026–2027 academic year. I look forward to ideas, support, collaboration, and participation throughout this year.
